Laura from Fabric Magpie was In a Haystack’s first ever featured fabric shop. As such a lovely member of the sewing community, this was a great way to kick off the packs. Laura asked if she could review the pack and of course I said yes!

“It’s packed full of information. I thought it was really fascinating and a really interesting, modern approach to subscription packs.”

“You get it in an email, it’s a bit like a newsletter, but it’s packed full of information […] Because it’s digital it means it’s a little bit more eco-friendly. There isn’t a lot of packaging that goes along with it. You can print as much or as little as you want to.”

“Along with the PDF pattern you also get a discount code for an independent fabric shop. I thought this was great because it means that you’re not necessarily going to get exactly the same fabric as somebody else […] It also means you get introduced to different companies that you might not have necessarily heard of before.”

“If anyone who received the pack already owned the Lucy dress they could swap for the Emily dress.”

The pack costs £10 which I thought was really reasonable considering you’re getting the PDF pattern and the discount codes […] you’re also getting those interviews which are exclusive to subscribers.”
