Hi Louise! Can you tell us a bit about you and Ethel and Joan?

I started making buttons as I wanted to make more of my favourite vintage ones for my own sewing projects. But after I made my first batch and showed them off to my friends, I came to the realisation that it was something I could turn into a business, and that’s how Ethel and Joan started.

I now sell a range of buttons in a number of different styles and colours. All the buttons are handmade by pouring epoxy resin in silicone molds which I also make myself. Because of the way I make the buttons, it means that the buttons don’t always come out machine perfect, so there are some irregularities which adds to the charm and makes each button a one of a kind.
