Hi Steph! Can you tell us a bit about you and The Rag Shop?

The Rag Shop was really born many, many years ago. My family would often go on little staycations around the UK and my mum and I would ALWAYS find the local fabric shops! One shop I went into had two dogs and I just thought, wow, these people have got it all figured out!

For me, this is the dream. I have hopes that we can get into a shop in the near future, then I’d get to see all the faces of people who love fabric as much as I do! All my lovely local customers are always saying how much it is needed in my area and I 100% agree!

I feel it would be so fulfilling to have a little creative hub where people can come and see the fabrics, choose trims, talk to like-minded creatives, maybe have community evenings where we all get together and sew or talk about our projects. And if my pooch can come along, even better!
