Hello Anna! Can you tell us a bit about you and The Eternal Maker?

I sort of ‘fell’ into opening The Eternal Maker 13 years ago. I’d always sewn throughout my life, but this was never my plan. I started it with my mum, who has a button wholesale business, mainly focusing on general crafts, and then the fabrics kind of took over.

We run classes and have a cafe in our Chichester store, and it’s my greatest achievement, despite the ups and downs of being a small business. It’s been such a crazy few years, what with Brexit, the coronavirus, and many other things that I don’t think I could say where I’ll be in 5 months let alone 5 years!
