Hello Lydia! Can you tell us a bit about you and Made My Wardrobe?

Sure! I started Made My Wardrobe in 2016 as a personal project. I wanted to make my entire wardrobe from scratch and give away all the clothes I had ever bought from shops. It took me a year to do that and I blogged about the process along the way.

In 2017 I started teaching workshops across the UK. I had lots of women from overseas get in touch to say they can’t make it to a workshop but would love to try out my patterns so I finally made the commitment to digitalise my work. It was an epic process because I’m used to doing everything by hand, but I loved learning and asking for help along the way. It is so satisfying seeing everything I’ve learnt in the last 10 years of sewing packaged up into a beautiful envelope so that others can learn from it too!
