Hello Polina! Can you tell us a bit about you and Good Fabric?

Good Fabric is an online dressmaking fabric store stocking sustainable fabrics. Our sourcing criteria is that all fabrics that we stock must have at least one eco credential and I hope to improve this with every season.

All fabrics on the website come with recommended eco friendly haberdashery, from buttons to elastics as well as some cool and useful sewing gadgets.

We tried to make the shopping experience as useful as possible, so you can search for fabrics based on your budget, sewing projects, colours, patterns, brands, and collections.

One of my favourite features [of the website] is our sewing directory called Sewing Bits & Bobs. You can find very useful contacts such as where to print your PDF patterns, create your own sewing labels, and find in persona and online classes. I have started adding a directory of garment manufacturers in the UK, as I have some many clients that are small brands.
