Hello Laura! Can you tell us a bit about you and The Specky Seamstress?

I’ve been sharing sewing as The Specky Seamstress for a year now but the decision to launch a business has been recent. As I stood over the ironing board making some bias binding, I decided I wanted some text to run along the edge of the bias binding. I discovered that product didn’t exist yet and thought – I can make that!

It has been such a thrill bringing something to life. That’s really the driving force behind the business, as I now look to launch new products. What products would I like to see out there in the sewing community? What items have I searched for to no avail while sewing my makes?
