Hello Josie! Can you tell us a bit about you and Fabric Godmother?

My background was in high street buying and I have always loved retail and sewing. Ten years ago there were so few fabric shops left on the high street and I got really frustrated about not being able to find amazing fabrics.

I decided the only option was to start my own fabric shop. As one of the first online dressmaker fabric shops (there were a few selling quilting cottons), it was a challenge. Would people buy fabrics online? It turns out, yes they will, and now we send fabrics all over the world.
