Hello Alice and Lilia! Can you tell us a bit about you and Alice & Co Patterns?

We set up Alice & Co Patterns a year and a half ago after writing our book ‘Pattern Cutting for Skirts and Dresses’ and realising how much we liked working together and how many ideas we wanted to bring to life. It seemed like a great combination of our existing skills as well as an opportunity to learn new ones like digital illustrations and how to use Instagram!

Alice’s favourite part of sewing is slicing her scissors through some delicious fabric, whilst Lilia loves being at her Juki sewing machine (a recent 30th birthday present!) and focusing on the sewing. We both like sitting down in front of a good film and doing the hand finishing and discussing our next project.
