In a Haystack is a digital sewing subscription service based in the UK.
Please read the following terms and conditions (terms) before buying anything on this website. You may also wish to read the privacy policy.
These terms apply to contracts between In a Haystack and you for sale of products to you.
When you order you will be asked to agree with these terms. We may change these terms from time to time. They were last updated on 10 March 2019s.

1.1 In a Haystack operates the website inahaystack.co.uk and sells subscriptions to digital sewing packs. We are based in London, United Kingdom.

1.1.3 We will generally contact you using the email address you provide when you make a purchase from In a Haystack.

The contract between you and In a Haystack
2.1 The website’s shopping pages let you know how to make an order. Please check your order before submitting it.
2.1.1 You will get an email telling you your order has been made.
2.1.2 If we cannot give you a product we will inform you by email. If you have already paid for the product we will refund you.
Changing terms
3.1 These terms may be changed occasionally.
3.2 The terms at the time of your order will apply.
3.3 The terms applied to your order may be changed due to, for example, changes in regulatory requirements and other situations.
3.4 If the terms applied to your order are changed we will give you advance notice and let you know how to cancel the contract.
Refunds and consumer rights
This applies if you are a consumer and you would like to cancel a contract for products provided by In a Haystack.
4.1 You have a right to cancel a contract. Advice is available from the Citizen’s Advice Bureau or Trading Standards.
4.1.1 The deadline for cancelling the contract for the In a Haystack digital subscription pack is the last day of the month before the first pack you do not want to receive is due to go out (eg 31 July for August’s pack).
4.1.2 To cancel a contract you can log in to your account on the website and follow the instructions on the FAQs page.
4.1.3 If you cancel your contract we will not send you any more packs until you re-subscribe. We cannot refund you for packs you have already received.
Prices
5.1 The prices of the products will those quoted on In a Haystack’s website when you submit your order which may include coupons. Please see clause 5.3 for information on finding an error in the price of a product.
5.2 The price of products may change. We will tell you in advance if this affects your subscription. You will be able to cancel your subscription if you wish.
5.3 It is possible that products on the website may be incorrectly priced. If there is a mistake you will be refunded or asked to either continue a purchase at the intended price or cancel your order. If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the order process we will cancel the order and let you know in writing.
Paying
6.1 You can pay for products using a debit or credit card. Customers should be 18 years old or older.
6.2 Payment from products happens in advance of receiving the product.
Liability
7.1 Products are only supplied for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the product for commercial, business or resale purposes. We have no liability to you for loss of profit or business.
Other events
8.1 We are not liable for failing to fulfil our obligations caused by an event outside our control.
8.1.1 An event outside our control includes, but is not limited to, strikes, industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, terrorism, war, and natural disasters.
8.1.2 If an event outside our control happens that affects our performance we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you
